 In August of 2006, the CD entitled Down Home in the Arkansas was sent to every public elementary school and public library in the state of Arkansas. Down Home in the Arkansas was partially funded by a grant from the Arkansas Arts Council and the Fayetteville Public Education Foundation to provide a FREE resource of Arkansas state songs and folksongs for music teachers and children across the state. The CD features all Arkansas state songs and some folksongs sung by children with accompaniments played by a folk musician. The CD also includes accompaniment tracks for these songs.
